Proactive Optometric Physicians exists to serve Optometrists in private practice, as well as those working in commercial settings looking to make a change, and students exploring their post-graduation options.

In addition selected individuals who believe in the POP mission and contribute to the success of private practice are eligible for membership.

If you have ever:

• Needed advice from an expert on clinical, business or legal issues
• Wished you could benefit from the discount advantages of a buying group
• Needed an advisor regarding third party payments, or if you have been prevented from joining managed care panels or were denied hospital privileges.
• Felt you would like to be able to discuss private practice issues with a diverse group of peers to get new insights and information.
